The Salem Regional Office of Oregon Law Center provides high quality legal services to the low income community in Marion, Polk, Linn and Benton counties. Based on our community legal needs assessment we consider these primary types of issues for case acceptance. Housing cases involving unlawful evictions, serious habitability issues or termination of federal housing assistance. Unemployment or wage violation cases. Consumer cases involving scams or unlawful conduct. We also provide advice or referrals regarding DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) and DAPA (Deferred Action for Parental Accountability) status programs.
Our office hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Fridays. Applicants are welcome to call or visit us in person to make an appointment.
The Salem office has Spanish speaking staff available. The office does not provide assistance with family law matters. Please contact Legal Aid Services of Oregon’s Salem Regional Office if you have a family law matter such as custody, divorce, and protective orders.
